I joined this long march of humanity in 1996. Welcoming me were my parents Melissa Rose Wolf and Eddie Running Wolf. From my Mom I learned compassion, kindness and joy. From my Dad I received an education in being an artist. Almost immediately I began to express myself through painting and drawing. While getting my Bachelor’s Degree in Biological and Chemical Engineering from the University of Colorado I discovered photography. In August of 2020 I held my Dad’s hand (they were always so much bigger than mine) as he finished his journey through this life. In August of 2023 I packed my car with my belongings and my cat and left sunny Colorado for the rainclouds of Portland, Oregon.

I’ve learned a lot of lessons over the years. I’ve looked in many mirrors and seen many versions of myself. Nowadays, when I’m standing in front of my own reflection, I try to remember this version of myself - who looked at the mirror and saw a canvas.
